I found the idea for this on Pinterest but I couldn’t find any instructions so I just winged it. This is sooooo easy, but I’m giving you a breakdown just in case you need it!
PERMANENT double-sided tape (yellow colored dispenser–normally used for scrapbooking photos)
The permanent part is important. Regular double-sided tape will probably just fall off.
I took a 8.5×11″ piece of cardstock and hamburger folded it twice so I had four layers of paper. I trimmed off both long sides and then cut a zig zag down the middle so that I had 8 sets of spikes.
Take one spike and fold the straight edge down (about 1/2 inch–enough width to fit a strip of the tape). Trim the spike to the length of your party hat and then apply a strip of the tape.
Apply the taped spike to the party hat and voila–dino hat!
Lots of fun dino stuff headed your way–it’s my son’s first birthday week!!! Can’t wait to share all our party stuff with you!!!
